Who is Sara Cruz?
Sara Cruz, the portuguese singer-songwriter born and raised in the heart of the Atlantic, has captivated audiences across stages both intimate and grand, from the prestigious venues and festivals of her island home and country, to the UK and Spain. With her first EP "Above Our Heads," she quickly gained recognition as "Portugal's brightest young talent." (NiT). In 2021, her artistry went global when she featured in Yamaha Music Europe's international documentary "House of Talents". Now, after a string of singles, Sara's long-awaited debut album "Fourteen Forty-Five" arrives in October 2024, marking a bold new chapter in her journey.

Sara reached out in the start of August 2024 asking if I could help with the design of the album artwork and the physical version for vinyl. Throughout the process I ended up also developing a logo and helping her with the overall aestethic and creative direction for the visual part of her project, a project I am incredibly grateful to be a part of.

Instantly knew I had to add those numbers in. The numbers help move the message forward, helping with the overall impact. The lines signify one of the most important part of Azores as an island, the ocean.
